Arrive Bulawayo Airport and transfer to Camp Amalinda, a Wilderness of Granite, for 2 nights on an all inclusive basis. The Matobo Hills are one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and your days will be spent exploring in the footsteps of Cecil John Rhodes and Mzilikazi, two famous men of the 19th Century. It is here that the San Bushmen left their inscriptions on the rocks and caves over 2000 years ago and the stunning Amalinda is cuddled in amongst some of these fascinating granite kopjies. Camp Amalinda, an exclusive, privately owned safari lodge, is in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Matobo Hills, and situated only 45kms from Bulawayo. Tucked away into an ancient Bushman's shelter, Camp Amalinda was voted top 3 Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe in 2010.
After breakfast at Camp Amalinda you will be driven by your guide for approx. 3 hours through rural Zimbabwe passing Ndebele villages to Hwange National Park, and spend 2 nights in wildest Africa in Ivory Lodge's 'Robinson Crusoe' styled tree houses.
From here you can watch the Big Five at their floodlit waterhole from the comfort of your room, or in the hide for closer encounters. Morning and evening game drives allow you great photos of the famous presidential elephant herd as well as other wildlife like lion,leopard,cheetah,huge buffalo herds and other plains game and bird species.
Ivory Lodge is set on its own 6000 acre conservancy bordering Hwange National Park which is the largest national park in Zimbabwe - equivalent in size to Wales. Hwange has always been one of the best places to visit for a broad range of safari experiences and Ivory Lodge is ' big game' country - lion,elephant leopard and buffalo are seen regularly from camp as well as in the park. Ivory is built in the tree tops of giant teak forests and offers personal attention to a maximum of 18 guests only. A beautiful place to stay while you tour Zimbabwe.
After breakfast you will set off to Victoria Falls, the adventure centre of Southern Africa. Victoria Falls is a 2 1/2 hour drive, where you will spend the last two nights of your safari at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge.
Set on a high plateau that forms the boundary of the unfenced Zambezi National Park, the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is four kilometres from the Victoria Falls. It is a deluxe African lodge that offers guests excellent uninterrupted views of the national park and easy access to Victoria Falls. Enjoy your last morning's breakfast at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. You will be collected by your transfer vehicle and driven 70kms to the Zimbabwe border. Complete border formalities and proceed onto Ngoma Safari Lodge in Chobe for your next three nights.
Situated in northern Botswana, within the Chobe Forest Reserve, Ngoma Safari Lodge borders the western edge of Chobe National Park ( a region renowned for its outstanding wildlife, in particular the famous Chobe Elephants, and home to more than 75 mammals and 450 bird species).

After breakfast, on your last morning at Ngoma Safari Lodge, you will catch your transfer back to Victoria Falls ( Zimbabwe ) airport for your onward flight home. This transfer should take approx. 2 1/2 hours including the Border crossing back into Zimbabwe. This is where yet another one of our incredible Zimbabwe tours ends.
