On this African tour we focus primarily on the current status of the black, as well as white rhino, the African elephant and the pressures which threaten their existence and how we can ensure their conservation. We visit the Damaraland and Kaokeveld areas of Namibia where the desert rhino and elephant are found. We visit Addo Elephant Park in the Eastern Cape where a population of elephant and both rhino species are thriving.
We also spend time in the Hluhluwe game reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, the black as well as white ‘rhino bank’ of the world. This African tour concludes with a visit to the world renowned Kruger National Park and the private reserves which border it.
