Day 1 & 2
On arrival our Meet & Greet service will help you through the airport and complete the formalities. Then head to the southern edge of the great Kalahari Desert. Your opportunity to enjoy game drives in spectacular desert scenery, with its surprisingly high wildlife density.
Day 3 & 4
Drive to the sand dunes of Sossusvlei in Namib-Naukluft Park. At over 40,000sq km it is Africa's largest national park. Fantastic wildlife viewing of a wide variety of mammals and over 200 bird species. It is however the sand dunes that are awe inspiring and amongst the highest in the world.
Day 5 & 6
Nambia's second largest town is located on the Atlantic coast and, since German times, the holiday resort of choice. Time to relax and recouperate, and perhaps participate in activities such as sand boarding, quad bikes or maybe a more leisurely hot air balloon trip. No better way to spend your Namibia adventure.
Day 7 & 8
Unusual geographical locations, archeological sites and a unique variety of desert fauna and flora await you in this stunning scenery. Enjoy a classic African safari as you explore the most southerly home of the very rare black rhino, the small unique desert elephants and Hartmans Mountain zebra.
Day 9 & 10
The name means " Great White Place ", which refers to the massive mineral pan that covers 25% of the park's 22,000sq km. Originally a lake, it now only floods at times of heavy rain. However, around the edge of the pan there are numerous permanent water holes, which attract a wide range and variety of wildlife. A visit to Etosha rarely disappoints.
Time to reflect as you drive back to Windhoek on how much life is actually supported by the desert. You may choose to continue onwards to visit South Africa or Botswana or return home.
