Enjoy an eclectic mix of South African culture and wildlife experiences when you explore Mpumalanga’s breath-taking Panorama Route and visit the world famous Greater Kruger National Park.
Day 1: Journey into the heart of South Africa’s majestic Mpumalanga province. Marvel at the naturally formed Bourke’s Luck Pot Holes, visit the spectacular Blyde River Canyon, the third largest in the world, and take in the sweeping views across the plateaux from God’s Window. Visit a traditional Shangaan village to learn more about this tribe’s culture and their deep understanding of the wildlife in the area. Overnight at Chestnut Country lodge or a similar luxury country lodge located along the scenic Panorama route.
Day 2 & 3: Continue into the Greater Kruger National Park for a feast of wildlife experiences. Spend two nights at Umlani or Motswari Private Game Lodges in the Timbavati Reserve area. Enjoy guided game drives twice a day within the world famous park.
Day 4: After a final early morning game activity and hearty brunch enjoy a scenic drive back to Johannesburg. An optional trip can also be arranged to visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Wildlife Centre where guests are able to participate in the centre’s well-known Cheetah Conservation project.
